Monobutyrin

Monobutyrin is a water-soluble butyrin product that can used in driving water products.

The gut microbiome, intestinal immune system, and the FCR are the key driving contributors to the profitability of livestock production. They have one important signaling factor in common: short-chain fatty acids (SCFAs, acetate, propionate, and butyrate). Butyrate is the primary molecule in SCFAs that drives gut function.

Monobutyrin is made from butyrin which contains butyrate. The gut lipase could slowly release butyrate from intestinal sites. The site, duration time, and density of butyrate are the 3 important signals to animal health and production. monobutyrin is the perfect feed additive that could cover all these requirements.
