SKF (Beijing) Biotechnology Co., Ltd. is the specialty feed-additive company of Beijing Challenge Group, focused on innovation and production of butyrate and short/medium-chain fatty acid (SCFA & MCFA) solutions for animal gut health.
Founded in 2011, we are a global supplier of tributyrin, monobutyrin, monolaurin, sodium butyrate, calcium butyrate, coated butyrates, potassium diformate, calcium formate and drinking-water acidifiers. We are committed to developing more value for customers — from molecule to feed additive.
The Group's track record in feed-additive innovation goes back further than SKF itself: in March 2005, Beijing Challenge Group was granted New Feed Additive Certificate No. (2005) 03 by the Ministry of Agriculture for potassium diformate (brand FUER), developed in cooperation with BASF — one of the earliest new-feed-additive approvals of that year. That heritage is why acidifiers and gut-health actives remain the core of what we do today.
A Track Record Since 2005
Our parent group introduced potassium diformate to the Chinese market two decades ago. The original New Product Certificate (No. (2005) 03) below was issued by the Ministry of Agriculture in March 2005 for potassium diformate (FUER), applied by Beijing Challenge Group with BASF cooperation, and approved for swine — the molecule that later became our FURE 95 product line.
