Privacy Policy
Last updated: 29 September 2026
SKF (Beijing) Biotechnology Co., Ltd. ("SKF Bio", "we") respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect when you use www.skfsw.com or contact us, how we use it, and the rights you have — including under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1. Who is responsible
Data controller: SKF (Beijing) Biotechnology Co., Ltd., Beijing, China. Contact: contact@skfsw.com, +86-10-62139561.
2. What we collect
Inquiry data. When you submit the contact form or email us, we process the details you provide (name, company, country, email address, product of interest and message) solely to respond to your inquiry, prepare quotations and technical documents, and manage the resulting business relationship.
Server logs. Like almost every website, our hosting provider records standard access logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamp) for security and operation. We do not use these logs for marketing profiling.
No tracking cookies. This website currently does not set analytics, advertising or social-media tracking cookies, and does not load third-party trackers. If we introduce analytics in the future, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent first.
3. Legal basis (GDPR)
We process inquiry data on the basis of pre-contractual steps and legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR) — answering your request and doing business with you. Server logs are processed under legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and available (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
4. Who receives your data
Inquiry emails are delivered through our email service provider to our company mailbox. Our website is hosted by a hosting provider in China. We do not sell your data and do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. Because we are based in China, inquiry data is transferred to and processed in China; we limit this transfer to what is necessary to handle your request.
5. How long we keep it
We keep inquiry correspondence for as long as the business relationship is active and for a reasonable period afterwards (typically up to 24 months) to handle follow-ups, after which it is deleted, unless a longer period is required by law or an ongoing contract.
6. Your rights
If you are in the EU/EEA (and under many other privacy laws), you have the right to access your personal data, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to processing, and receive a portable copy. To exercise any of these rights, email contact@skfsw.com — we respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
7. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always published on this page with its revision date.
